1. GSF Accelerator

GSF India’s Global Accelerator Program began in June 2014 with 11 startups that were selected from a pool of more than 500 applications from across the world.

Key Person: Rajesh Sawhney

Funding: It invests $50k at 7-8% equity into the startups inducted into the Accelerator program. It also does follow-on rounds into a few selected startups after the program.

2. 5Ideas

Key Person: Pearl Uppal and Gaurav Kachru

Funding: 5Ideas’ investment ranges from US $50K to US $300K. They go upto US $500K usually in pre-series round A.  

What do they provide?

  • Successful entrepreneurs, domain experts, investors and leaders as mentors.
  • Their 30+ years of operating experience and capabilities enables them to help founders in scaling their startups.

3. Jaarvis Accelerator

Key Person: Saumyajit Guha

Funding: If the startup is unable to get investors and Jaarvis accelerator believes in the startup’s idea, they might fund the startup.

What do they provide?

  • This is a four-month residential accelerator program developed by seasoned entrepreneurs for aspiring entrepreneurs, throughout which Jaarvis works intensively with the startups to develop, build and grow their business.

TLabs is an accelerator as well as an early stage seed-fund for Indian Internet and mobile technology startups. The accelerator program at TLabs is spread over 16 weeks.

What do they provide?

  • They provide startups with an in-house team that provides support through weekly catch-ups across different verticals of the business.
  • Also startups receive access to over 100+ experts who are mentors of the program and who guide them on specific issues.

There are two phases to this Aarambh Ventures accelerator program the first phase provides infrastructure and tech support to the selected startups by setting up an idea lab at the IIT-Roorkee campus. The second phase will be a 16-week accelerator programme located outside the campus in Greater Noida

9. AIM Smart City Accelerator

After the program ends they have a demo day, where they call all investors relevant to the AIM Smart City Accelerator. Startups will be able to interact with and pitch their ideas to these investors. They also get access to the wide network of Ashoka University, ISB and Microsoft for further funding.

What do they provide?

  • Mentors with proven track record and experience in the Smart City domain areas. A good mix of senior industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs.
  • One mentor per startup. They match the right mentor to a startup. 50% of the program sweat equity charged goes to the Mentor.
